For all of their success on the offensive side of the ball, the Kansas City Chiefs have also been a great defense to pick on this year.
They rank a moderate 18th against the pass by numberFire's metrics, but playing in a bunch of shootouts has them allowing the second-most passing and sixth-most passing touchdowns to opponents this season.
Unsurprisingly, with those stats they're also allowing the league's second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.
Derek Carr is someone I've written up often this year, because his inconsistent play tends to leave him under-priced when he does draw good matchups.
He has fallen under 12 fantasy points in each of his last two games, but also turned in 18.8 and 24.2 in the two games prior. That 24.2 was his second-highest mark of the season and came against this Kansas City defense.
