7 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for Week 17
With Phillip Lindsay out, Royce Freeman stands to see a big role against the Chargers. Which other low-cost plays could pop in Week 17?

Royce Freeman, RB, Denver Broncos

Price: $4,700

Phillip Lindsay, the Denver Broncos' breakout lead back this year, is done for the year with a wrist injury.

Having accounted for 57% of the team's running back carries and having played 46% of the offensive snaps, Lindsay's absence should open up a ton of opportunity.

Freeman is second on the team in snap share (31%) and carries (37% of the running back carries in Denver), and he should take over the bulk of the work that Lindsay frees up. This is especially true on early downs, as his top competition for work, Devontae Booker, has 44 targets but only 29 carries on the season.

The Broncos have a lowly 17.5-point implied total here, and a matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers isn't a good one, but getting a lead back for $200 above the minimum with 20-carry upside (Lindsay and Freeman have combined for 20-plus carries in seven of the last nine games) is always going to be a top value spot.
