8 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for the Wild Card Round
Lamar Miller is underpriced with the Texans boasting this weekend's highest implied total. Which other value options are worth a look on this weekend's two DFS slates?

Saturday Running Back: Lamar Miller, Houston Texans

Price: $6,400

On a super-short slate, punting running back can be really tough, and it generally leaves you praying for a touchdown to salvage an otherwise terrible day.

Volume is almost always what we want at running back, and on this slate, to find any sort of reliable volume, you need to pay up a bit.

With that being said, Lamar Miller is only the fourth-most expensive running back on the slate, and he has no shortage of upside.

Miller has been an absolute volume hog this season. If we remove an injury-shortened Week 15 outing, he has had at least 10 carries in every game, with at least 12 in each game since Week 3. His last five full games saw him average 16.4 carries and 3.0 targets.

The Indianapolis Colts may not look like a good matchup on the surface, ranking top-10 versus the run by our metrics. But this is a better matchup than it may seem. That 10th-ranked run defense is actually the worst among the four teams in action on Saturday, so you don't need to be too worried on that front, and the Houston Texans' offense is expected to do plenty of scoring, with a 25.0-point implied total that is the highest of the week.
