4 DraftKings Bargains for the Wild Card Round
Russell Wilson is priced down in a matchup with the Cowboys' mediocre pass defense. Which other low-cost players are in good spots this week?

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

DraftKings Price: $2,500

The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to get an integral piece to their offense in Hunter Henry. The third-year tight end missed the regular season due to a torn ACL but is expected to debut in the Wild Card round. If Henry is bac kto full health, he would be grossly mis-priced this week at the bare minimum ($2,500) on DraftKings.

Henry was projected to be a top-five option in the 2018 season after two promising seasons in the league. Here is how he fared in those two seasons:

Season Games Targets Receptions Yards TD PPR Rank
2016 15 53 36 478 8 TE19
2017 14 62 45 579 4 TE12

Chasing touch downs are more important on shorter slates with points coming at a scarcity. Even if Henry isn’t playing at a full complement of snaps, his usage should be in high leverage situations in the red zone. Henry was the second receiving option in both years as a Charger. Here is where Henry fared in red zone usage:

20171216.7%3

The matchup couldn’t set up any better for Henry. The Baltimore Ravens' top-rated defense is stout, but they have a tendency to give up production to tight ends. The defense is bottom-10 in every tight end statistic: targets, catches, yards and touchdowns. They finished the regular season allowing the eighth most DraftKings points per game (13.2).

The obvious concern is the projectable snaps and targets Henry should see. Even if he plays, he's expected to be on some type of pitch count. Nonetheless, the snaps and targets he should be getting will be in high-equity situations, making a healthy Henry a solid bet for a touchdown. As such, he makes a nice option to pay down at for a meager position.
