Price: $5,400
Sticking with the theme of cheaper value on Sunday, we get down under $6,000 at running back here with Darren Sproles.
Age can be a real concern for running backs in a season-long lens, but it matters far less (or even not at all) in daily fantasy. The risk of injury in any given game is low enough to ignore, and the Eagles have no reason to hold anything back now as 8.0-point underdogs in the playoffs.
We saw the kind of role they're willing to give him last week, when he notched a season-high 13 carries. He only saw three targets in that game, but considering three is the fewest he has seen in a game this season, we can expect that to be much closer to his floor than his ceiling.
That's the second time in the last three games that Sproles has at least 15 opportunities (carries plus targets), and the exception was a 24-point blowout win in which he didn't touch the ball in the second half.
Likely playing from behind against the Saints means that there should be extra passing volume available as well, which means Sproles should be in for plenty of snaps and plenty of work in the passing game. The Philadelphia Eagles' 21.50-point implied total is the second-lowest of the weekend, but volume is king at running back, and that's something Sproles should have a lot of.
