While newcomers to fantasy football may believe that quarterbacks matter, veterans of the game understand that the position is easy to fill in a fantasy football roster. And because you can get usable signal-callers so late in a fantasy draft, waiting on the position certainly makes a lot of sense.

The reality is, the position is insanely deep, and using your late-round quarterback each and every week during the season would be foolish. So although these five quarterbacks are solid targets on draft day given their average draft positions, don’t assume you should simply plug and play them every single week.
