I love Marshawn Lynch. I really do. He's a breath of fresh air in a league that is bent on suffocating itself. That skittle-eatin' monster has been endlessly entertaining to watch, toting the rock and breaking tackles.

He's done a lot of toting though. A lot. And while those miles add up, his efficiency has gone down, and now the for the first time he has legitimate competition in the backfield with the arrival of Christine Michael.

Sadly for Lynch, his statistical comparables show a lot of players at the end of their roads: Ricky Watters 2000, Ray Rice 2012, Chris Johnson 2013. All of these guys were shells of what they once were, never to get it back.

I love him, but no way I'm taking him near his average draft position. Give me Jimmy Graham, Dez Bryant, or DeMarco Murray. Without question.
