10 Things I Learned From Week 2 of the NFL Season
Injuries, comebacks and upsets. There's plenty to take away from Week 2 of the 2014 season.

And Antonio Gates, Too

Wasn’t this supposed to be Ladarius Green’s year? Didn’t Antonio Gates retire two years ago or something?

We warned you about this here at numberFire. Antonio Gates is still the top tight end option in this offense, and it, once again, showed in Week 2 as he hauled in three touchdowns from quarterback Philip Rivers. Three!

Meanwhile, Ladarius Green had as many targets as you, your mom, your dad and your dog combined.

Green will surely have blow-up games, but it’s not even close to worthwhile to throw him into your fantasy lineup right now. Gates, meanwhile, has 17 targets in two games, and while he looks like he’s played 11 years in the NFL, his production says otherwise.
