6 Things I Learned From Week 3 of the NFL Season
Tom Brady and the Patriots have been pretty mediocre offensively to start the season.

The Chargers Are for Real

Coming off a huge win against Seattle in Week 2, San Diego was traveling east to Buffalo for an early Sunday game. That wasn't a problem, as they beat the undefeated Bills 22-10, handing the ball off to their third-string (if that's what you call it) running back 31 times.

Mike McCoy runs somewhat of a boring-yet-efficient offense, and it was one of the run-heaviest in the league a season ago. That's continued in 2014 as well, as San Diego entered Week 3 with a pass-to-run ratio of 1.21.

But the San Diego defense, which was a big reason for some of their struggles in a playoff season a year ago, is playing better, and this team is coming together. It shouldn't surprise anyone to see them in the playoffs again this year.
