I will admit here, in front of everyone, that I was wrong about the Bills and Kyle Orton. I thought the E.J. Manuel was young enough to turn it around, that he was hampered by a weak line and inexperienced receivers, and that they were brutally misusing C.J. Spiller.
Well, I'm still right about that last lone and the receivers are still fairly inexperienced, but the point remains that the Buffalo offense is humming more that it has in multiple years. While the attention of defenses has slid to the emerging Sammy Watkins and the competent Robert Woods, Scott Chandler has eaten up targets and become a necessary safety valve for Orton, to the tune of 25 targets over the past four weeks.
He's obviously a TE2 with limited upside, so don't go nuts - but the usage is there. In games where Orton will have to throw to be in it, Chandler will be a sneaky smart deep sleeper start.
