Week 7 was one of those weird weeks in the NFL. I suppose you could say that about the league each week, but the Sunday (and Thursday) contests of Week 7 seemed to have a little extra "Wut?" to them.
And because of that, what we thought was up is now down, as player and team perceptions, once again, changed. Two weeks ago, for instance, Seattle was easily one of the best teams in the NFL. Today, I'm not sure we can confidently say that. And it has nothing to do with Percy Harvin's departure, either. It has everything to do with a defense - one that was historically great a season ago - collapsing.
