It's hard to know what to make of the Rams. Some weeks they look like a CFL team, other weeks they knock off the defending Super Bowl Champions. What gives?
Well, when you're starting a rookie, you have no real legitimate receivers, your top defensive player is also a rookie and the supposed bedrock of your offense is injured and was ineffective when he actually was healthy... you're going to get some growing pains. Still, their offensive unit is moving the ball somewhat effectively and in the absence of Zac Stacy in the backfield, Tre Mason has assumed the lead down role and is a good bet for 15-20 touches per week in the foreseeable future.
In PPR leagues, I'd downgrade him a smidge simply due to Benny Cunningham's ability as a receiver, but Mason is about as lock-and-loaded as you'll get for a running back waiver option.
