10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Week 8 was a wild one. Who else might have a big day in Week 9?

Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

Alex Smith disappointed in Week 8, staying in single digits in fantasy points. He did, though, complete 24 of his 28 passes and add 24 yards on the ground while recording a solid Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) of 10.11. The game flow the Chiefs experienced during the Rams game this past week and the one they might see against the Jets in Week 9 could very easily end up similar, but the Jets defense is porous enough that Smith can still be a viable option regardless.

They have allowed multiple passing touchdowns to quarterbacks in each game this year and have allowed at least three in five of their seven games. Smith doesn't have one of those crazy ceilings that we saw Ben Roethlisberger realize in Week 8, but anybody and everybody gets a boost against this Jets team right now.
