Coming into the season, there would be no way that I could recommend Cordarrelle Patterson as a sleeper pick in Week 9, but here we are. Patterson hasn't posted double-digit fantasy points since Week 1 before he did it in Week 8. I'm not telling you to chase the points, but he did have 12 targets, which was double any other Viking.

Patterson gets another positive matchup in Week 9 against Washington, who rank outside the top-20 in points allowed to receivers. Patterson, if force-fed targets, can provide solid fantasy points in one fell swoop. Few players right now are as enigmatic as Patterson is, but if there's a time to feel confident playing him, it might be now.
