Tre Mason hasn't exactly inspired confidence in his four games as a featured back, averaging 19.5 carries and 72.0 yards without seeing the end zone.
But those four games did come against top-half run defenses, according to our metrics. Three of them were on the road, too. Week 13 brings the Oakland Raiders, who entered Week 12 ranked 17th in rush defense, to St. Louis. Oakland allowed 105 yards and a touchdown to Ryan Mathews, and Mason is essentially unchallenged for carries right now.
