8 Big-Name Players You May Want to Avoid in Week 13
We're closing in on the fantasy playoffs, and benching some of these big-name guys could help you sneak in.

Roddy White, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Once a top-five stud, Roddy White has become a high end WR3 in standard fantasy leagues, especially considering that he has seen a lot of time off the field with injuries over the past year and a half. He still plays in the high-octane Falcons offense, though, which means he does have good scoring potential as a possession-style, red zone receiver. Still, I wouldn't be relying on this aging asset for Week 13.

One of the biggest damning factors about White is that he's only eclipsed six fantasy points in a week once without scoring a touchdown. That was last week against Cleveland, but Cleveland's pass defense has rapidly fallen off the table. Expecting 90 yards from White weekly is not the right play; you're hoping for a touchdown with him. This week, that seems highly unlikely, as he goes toe-to-toe with the Arizona Cardinals' seventh-ranked defense by Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP. The Cards have been very good at limiting opposing fantasy receivers, holding total corps to fewer than 12 points for five of the last six weeks. Expect something similar this week for Roddy.
