Back in late May -- soon after the Cowboys were rumored to be going after Johnny Manziel in the NFL Draft -- I spoke to the nonsense of Tony Romo not being a clutch quarterback. Because there's this narrative that he's a bad quarterback in December and that he can't win the big game, but the narrative couldn't be further from the truth.
So far in December, Romo has 10 touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 79% completion percentage. His Passing Net Expected Points total over these three games has hit the 70-point mark, which is roughly 20 to 30 points better than what the majority of quarterbacks will hit all season long.
You have to be excited to see him in the playoffs this season.
