12 Post-NFL Draft Situations to Watch at the Wide Receiver Position for Fantasy Football
The rookie wide receiver class of 2014 sent waves throughout the NFL that are still being felt during this offseason. What does the wide receiver class of 2015 have in store for this upcoming fantasy football season?

Jeremy Maclin v2.0 in Philly: Nelson Agholor

Despite the waves Chip Kelly made turning over the Eagles roster in free agency, there was still one aspect of this offense that needed addressing prior to the NFL Draft. Chip had to find someone to fill the role Jeremy Maclin vacated when he signed with Kansas City earlier this year.

And while Philadelphia had RIley Cooper listed as the starting wideout opposite budding sophomore Jordan Matthews, with Cooper rating out as the least efficient receiver in the NFL last season, he was never a realistic option.

Enter USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor.

With the 20th overall pick of the NFL Draft, Kelly found just the man to soak up a good chunk of the 143 targets Maclin left behind in Philadelphia. As our own Scott Barrett described recently, Agholor possesses not only the physical skills necessary to succeed in the NFL -- given his experience in a pro-style offense in college -- he also displays the intelligence and decision-making abilities to excel in Chip Kelly's complex, fast-paced scheme.

While I don't expect Agholor to put up the numbers Maclin did last season -- his 111.21 Reception NEP ranked him as the ninth most efficient receiver last season -- given the late-round price he'll likely fetch and his promising set of skills and athleticism, one could do worse than to own someone that will likely become the second-best receiver on Kelly's high-volume offense.
