NFL
5 Late-Round Wide Receivers to Target in Fantasy Football Drafts in 2015
Which late-round wide receivers will help bring your team a championship title this season?

Brian Quick, St. Louis Rams

Bye Week: 5
Season: 4th
ADP: 134 (WR53)

Brian Quick made a quick splash early last season, starting the year off with averages of 81 yards and one touchdown per game over the first quarter of the season.

But after that, he was shutdown by the Niners' stout secondary. And then by Seattle's. And before he could bounce back against the Kansas City Chiefs, Quick suffered a torn rotator cuff and dislocated shoulder that ended his season.

And just as quickly as he burst onto the scene, Quick's name faded from fantasy football manager's minds.

But with signs last year that he may have finally put it all together to make good on the promises that made him the 33rd overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft, prudent fantasy football managers will be wise to keep an eye on Quick for upcoming drafts.

Brian Quick's size and willingness to outmuscle defenders to win in the short game makes him an ideal fit for new Rams quarterback Nick Foles. And as I've written about before, the reliability Quick flashed last season -- with a 0.81 Net Expected Points (NEP) per target (which tied him for 18th among all wideouts receiving at least 30 targets last year) and a Success Rate of 96.0% (just behind Megatron's 98.6% and Marques Colston's 96.6%) -- will have Foles looking his way early and often next year.

While there is still no timetable for Quick's return to action, those looking for a bargain WR3 should keep tabs on his rehab and recovery this offseason. In a contract year and with a skillset that meshes perfectly with Foles' tendencies, Quick could be the end-of-draft home run that puts teams over the top this year.
