A Wide Receiver to Target in Each Round of Your Fantasy Football Draft
Which wide receiver is your best option at each round of fantasy football drafts this season?

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars

ADP: 72 (6.11)

As I've written about before, while Allen Robinson's rookie season pace of 77 receptions and 877 yards for the year prior to his season-ending injury aren't exactly eye-catching numbers, what is impressive is that he did all this while playing on what was one of the worst offenses in the league last year.

And his ability to use his athleticism and superior instincts at the wideout position to transcend his situation and outperform expectations to emerge as the team's primary offensive weapon is what draws my attention to the second year man in Jacksonville.

With a red-hot offseason so far, Allen Robinson's draft stock has shot all the way up to the sixth round in standard-scoring leagues.

And I argue that at this price, he's still a bargain.

That's because when I look at Robinson I see a lot of Alshon Jeffery in his game. Their build and Combine metrics are not only nearly identical to one another, but just like Jeffery, Robinson has also shown a toughness on routes over the middle alongside vice-like hands that allow him to snatch the ball out of the air.

And with an improved Jaguars' offense -- quarterback Blake Bortles' has a year of NFL experience under his belt and the team added two new offensive weapons to share the load in Julius Thomas and rookie running back T.J. Yeldon -- alongside Robinson's quick development as a pro receiver, things are falling in place for Robinson to have the same sophomore year leap that Jeffery enjoyed in his second season in Chicago.
