Quarterback: Tom Brady

appeal was overturned.

[Insert angry Tom Brady narrative]

Brady played like a man with his hair on fire kicking off the 2015 season on Thursday Night Football without missing a beat following his Superbowl victory.

Connecting early and often with Julian Edelman, Brady found his go-to safety valve repeatedly as he picked up 11 receptions for 97 yards. The Steelers had a difficult time pass rushing as they were only able to reach Brady for two sacks as the offensive line prevented any additional quarterback hits.

Where Brady really excelled was in the red zone, as he was able to capitalize on all four of their trips and convert them into touchdowns. Paving the way was none other than super human Rob Gronkowski, as he was able to finish the night collecting 5 receptions for 94 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brady was also able to find New England's newest tight end Scott Chandler for his fourth score on the night.

These four touchdown scores buoyed Brady to the top of the Week 1 NEP rankings among quarterbacks as no one was able to catch up to him.

Honorable Mention
Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona Cardinals
