Greg Olsen is like the dude who chills outside of a restaurant as they're closing down and not serving food anymore. Sure, the restaurant could simply throw their excess food away. But that'd be kind of a bad look when they could just offer it to the guy standing outside willing to take it off their hands. As such, that dude gets fed.

And Olsen's getting fed, having received as many targets this year as Rob Gronkowski! And that includes receiving a mere three targets in Week 1. After three weeks, Olsen’s received 28% of his team’s total target share, the highest among NFL tight ends. None of this is all that surprising when your team's top wide receivers are Ted Ginn, Jr. and Philly Brown.

Olsen's currently rocking a 0.76 Reception NEP per target, good for eighth-best among all tight ends with at least 15 targets, which would be a career best in terms of efficiency if the season ended today. He figures to build on this going up against the Bucs, who are a bottom-half defense in terms of defending the tight end.

With the Panthers clearly committed to running their aerial attack through Olsen this season, he provides a safe floor and, as he showed last week, a pretty high ceiling with his 8-catch, 134-yard, 2-touchdown masterpiece against the Saints.
