After a tremendous showing in Week 2, Derek Carr proved that it was no fluke, once again putting up huge numbers in Week 3. Over the last two games he has thrown for 665 yards with 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. With a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Carr is well positioned to do it again.
Chicago ranks 31st in the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) through three weeks, which is fairly unsurprising considering they ranked 27th in the category in 2014.
Despite a very weak Week 1, Carr ranks 12th among quarterbacks in fantasy scoring this year. He has also been one of the more efficient passers in the league, and his 0.34 Passing NEP per drop back ranks 8th among the 38 passers to record at least 25 drop backs.
