Fantasy Football: 7 Players to Avoid in Week 4
Which players are most likely to fall short of expectations in Week 4?

DeMarco Murray, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Well, what is going for DeMarco Murray this week? He's injured and not yet confirmed to be active for Sunday, so keep that in mind.

But among running backs with 20-plus attempts, he ranks 45th out of 47 on a per-play basis in terms of NEP. His rushing stats in the two games he's played combine to 21 attempts for 11 yards. Ryan Mathews, meanwhile, carried 24 times for 108 yards against a Jets defense I previously mentioned that have been the top run defense in the NFL. And by Adjusted Defensive Rush NEP per play, the Washington defense ranks third in the league -- this isn't a cake matchup.

One is only starting Murray if there are no better options, and I really hope there are better options. We project him for 17.93 carries, 70.53 rushing yards, and 0.54 rushing touchdowns.
