Demaryius Thomas has yet to have one of his quintessential, outrageously productive games this season, but it's coming. And it very well could be this weekend.
Thomas currently ranks third in the league in total targets and has caught at least seven passes in each of his first four games. That provides quite a nice floor given his 90-yard per game average even though he only has one touchdown thus far this season. This figures to regress positively given his three straight seasons from 2012 through 2014 catching double-digit touchdowns. And this Sunday figures to be a good week for that regression to start working its will.
With the Broncos set to face the Oakland Raiders, the 30th ranked passing defense in the league per our per-play metrics, the Broncos have a perfect opportunity to get their formerly high-octane offense back in gear. And for what it's worth, Thomas has straight murked the Raiders the last three seasons, going for over 100 yards in four out of the last six games in which he's played against them.
With the lack of touchdowns thus far this season, Thomas' price is reasonable for a top-tier receiver in a cake matchup. In fact, Thomas is our highest projected scoring receiver of the week. Lock him in your lineups and don't look back.
