5 Daily Fantasy Football Matchups to Exploit in Week 5
The Cardinals have gotten off to a hot start thus far, and it doesn't look like that will stop in Week 5.

New York Giants Passing Offense

Now that we are four weeks removed from that opening night, I think we can say with some confidence that the San Francisco 49ers' defense is what we thought it was. Unfortunately for the fine fans in the bay, that is straight gross. But it does lend itself to a nice spot for the Giants' passing offense.

Entering Week 5, the 49ers are 23rd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. They have gone on the road twice this season, and they have allowed a combined 676 passing yards, 5 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, and 90 points. I know that's a sample size of only two games, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not ideal. The Giants have an offense that can take advantage of that.

The Giants enter this contest ranked seventh in Adjusted Passing NEP per play. They weren't great last week, but that may actually work to your advantage.

In that contest, the Giants were facing the Buffalo Bills, who are currently fifth in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Additionally, the Giants were on the road, with an implied team total well below their mark of 25.25 this week. Even with these factors working against them, it's possible that performance could lower ownership on their top assets this week.

The one issue with this is that your only great option for a stack is Eli Manning with Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham is the only receiver on the team who has seen more than 17 percent of the team targets as he is currently seeing 29.29 percent of the looks. Second is Larry Donnell at 23 total targets (16.43 percent), so you could go there if you want to pivot off of Beckham. I'm not so sure I'd want to do that.

After hauling in 5 receptions for 38 yards in Week 4, people may be off of Beckham, instead opting for Julio Jones or Demaryius Thomas. Beckham isn't a great cash-game option because his floor is well below that of those other players, but we know what his upside is.

Beckham has topped at least 15 points (assuming 0.5 points per reception) in 9 of his last 14 games. He has had at least 20 points in 6 of his last 10. When he goes off, he goes off. You certainly can go elsewhere with your stack, but if it's a tourney, and you're looking to capitalize on this matchup, Beckham may be your top option.
