The 5 Best NFL Offenses Through Week 5
Who are the five most efficient offenses through the first five weeks of the season?

Arizona Cardinals

Adjusted NEP/P: 0.270 (1st)
Adjusted Passing NEP/P: 0.374 (2nd)
Adjusted Rushing NEP/P: 0.132 (4th)

The Cardinals have seem to have found the Fountain of Youth in Arizona.

Three players who many thought were past their primes coming into the 2015 season in 35-year old Carson Palmer, 32-yard old Larry Fitzgerald, and 30-year old Chris Johnson have powered this squad to the top of the offensive rankings.

Boasting a squad overflowing with talent, the Cardinals have the most efficient overall offense according to our schedule-adjusted metrics.

With Palmer at the helm and a trio of superb wideouts in Fitzgerald, John Brown, and Michael Floyd lining up on the outside, Arizona's passing game ranks second in efficiency.

Not to be outdone by the passing game, this team has a trio of talented tailbacks more than capable of moving the chains on the ground as well. Playing mostly without incumbent starting tailback Andre Ellington during the early part of this season, Chris and David Johnson have pushed this running attack into the top five of the league as the fourth most efficient unit in the league.

And with the Cardinals being the only team on this list owning the enviable distinction of having both a top-five ranked offensive and defensive unit, if they can stay relatively healthy, Palmer and company may help lead this Arizona squad to a visit to Santa Clara for Super Bowl 50.
