Hot on the heels of the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets sit just behind them as the second-most efficient defense in the league.
Thanks to the league's third most efficient pass defense that has recently shut down what many expected to be offensive juggernauts in the Colts, Eagles, and Dolphins, and the league's most efficient rush defense, this team has allowed a league-best 13.8 points per game and a second-best 280.3 yards per contest.
Darrelle Revis -- who currently sits sixth in the league with two interceptions -- and Antonio Cromartie have led a secondary allowing a league-low 51.1% completion rate to opposing quarterbacks.
And while their pass rush has been less than amazing (seven sacks in four games), with a key piece of their defensive line, Sheldon Richardson, expected back in Week 6, expect opposing teams to find it even tougher to move the ball on this already stingy defensive unit.
