Fantasy Football: 7 Players to Avoid in Week 6
Which players are most likely to fall short of expectations in Week 6?

Cam Newton and Russell Wilson, QB, Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks

Cam Newton and Russell Wilson have been middle-of-the-pack so far in terms of Passing NEP, which is somewhat irrelevant for their purposes because their key to fantasy success is running the ball. Facing off in Week 6, each will have to play against the other’s strong pass defense. In Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, Carolina ranks 2nd and Seattle ranks 12th, meaning both will have to work to earn their fantasy points.

It's certainly within the realm of possibilities that one or both of Newton and Wilson will go off this weekend, but why take the chance if you have other options? We project Newton for 222.11 passing yards, 1.13 passing touchdowns, and 0.76 interceptions with 34.96 rushing yards and 0.30 rushing touchdowns, and Wilson for 198.07 passing yards, 1.25 passing touchdowns, and 0.88 interceptions as well as 46.32 yards and 0.36 yards on the ground.
