Now that Steve Smith, Sr. is out for season with a torn Achilles, the Ravens once again find themselves looking to Kamar Aiken to step up and become the number one option in the passing game.
And in Sunday's win against the Chargers, Aiken did just that by catching all 6 targets for 62 yards and producing an impressive 1.05 Reception NEP per target.
While his 0.67 Reception NEP per target ranks him as just the 34th most efficient wideout out of 59 receivers with at least 30 targets going into Week 8 of this season, Aiken should be relied on by the Ravens heavily for the rest of the season.
Though Aiken may not be the most talented receiver in the league, his now prominent role on the Ravens and guaranteed workload through the air for Baltimore makes him a worthy add off your league waiver wires this week.
