10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Melvin Gordon has been a disappointment all season. Is this the week he turns things around?

Jeremy Langford, RB, Chicago Bears

With Matt Forte almost assuredly out this week, rookie Jeremy Langford is in line to start for the Chicago Bears. Langford would seem like an obvious play this week against the putrid San Diego Chargers run defense -- 28th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play -- but he is still owned in only 58% of ESPN leagues.

Allowing over 24 fantasy points per game, which is worst in the league, the Chargers have struggled to stop running backs all season long. With Langford in line to see Forte's usual heavy workload, he is a great plug-and-play option whether you've lost Forte or just need to fill a hole at running back this week.

Being on the road and an underdog against San Diego does present some cause for concern, but Langford's competency in the passing game should be enough to keep him involved even if the Chargers eventually pull away from the Bears in this one.
