Scott Chandler will slide into Rob Gronkowski's role this week in a matchup that hasn't always been ideal in the past. The Philadelphia Eagles have defended the tight end position well over the past few years, and this season is no different, as the Eagles have allowed the second fewest points to tight ends all year.
What Chandler has working for him, though, is a huge implied team total of 29.75 points. If the Patriots are going to approach this total, they'll assuredly make a trip or two to the red zone, where Chandler figures to be featured.
While neverĀ a star, Chandler did have success in Buffalo previously as a starter and should be comfortable stepping into the lineup this week. He may not be Gronk, but he can certainly be serviceable.
