Nope, I don't have a single clue how this is going to shake out in the playing-time department. I do know, however, that you're going to want exposure to Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware one way or another.

Those Kansas City Chiefs running backs will find themselves going up against a San Diego Chargers defense that ranks 30th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play. They have allowed eight different running backs to finish in the top 10 in weekly scoring against them this year, including Ware with his 96 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 11.

The Chiefs are heavily favored, indicating they're likely to run the ball in positive game script relatively early. They're at home. The Chargers are dealing with injuries across the board. This is the type of game that checks every box you're looking for when selecting running backs in daily fantasy football. If only we knew who was going to get the ball.

The safer choice of the two is pretty clearly West. He played 66.7 percent of the team's snaps last week compared to only 33.3 percent for Ware. He was also the first back to get a carry after the Chiefs picked up their first lead of that game, leading you to believe he could maintain the high snap totals even when the team is in positive game script.

With all of that said, West's ceiling doesn't appear to be as high as Ware's. Even though West out-touched Ware last week, Ware saw three red-zone carries to West's one. He has 10 red-zone carries the past three weeks, and he has converted four of those into touchdowns.

Partially because of his nose for the end zone, Ware has been hyper efficient when he has gotten opportunities. His 43 carries have turned into 11.94 Rushing NEP or 0.28 Rushing NEP per carry. West is at -3.60 Rushing NEP on his 107 carries, and even Jamaal Charles only had 6.93 Rushing NEP on 71 carries. Ware couples this with a 48.84 Rushing Success Rate compared to Charles's 45.07 percent and West's 42.06 percent. It's a small sample size, but Ware has been the more efficient back.

Combining Ware's efficiency with his red-zone presence makes him my favorite of the two options, even if his floor is a bit lower. If you're filling out multiple tournament lineups, I'd try to have exposure to both of these guys, with more of it going to Ware than West.
