Defenses

High-Cost Option: Seattle Seahawks $3,500

The Ravens have remained murky about the status of Matt Schaub heading into this week's matchup, but with Schaub missing both of Wednesday and Thursday's practice, it looks like they'll give newly signed Jimmy Clausen the reigns this week as the Seattle Seahawks come to town. Seattle enters as six-point favorites, which seems rather low given how dominate they looked in last week's game against Minnesota. If Seattle's passing offense can continue to roll like it has recently, they should have no problem forcing either Clausen or Schaub into mistakes while playing catch-up.

Mid-Cost Option: Kansas City Chiefs $3,200

The Kansas City Chiefs face a San Diego team that's filled with injuries. Over their last four games, they've averaged 15 fantasy points per game and now take on a Chargers squad that has given up the fifth-most fantasy points to opponents. The Chiefs are tied for the third-most takeaways and fifth-most sacks on the season and are in a great matchup at home this week for them to continue dominating opponents.

Low-Cost Option: Chicago Bears $2,500

The pricing for defenses seems odd this week, but if looking to save a few dollars, the Chicago Bears D/ST presents an intriguing option. The Bears take on a traveling Washington Redskins team that has struggled on the road (0-5). Kirk Cousins' road performances this season -- 5:8 touchdown to interception ratio, 61.9% completion percentage -- are way different than his home-splits and his 12:2 ratio with 74.2% completion percentage. The Bears haven't been dominating this season on defense but have allowed only 15.2 points per game in their last five games, while averaging a steady 8.0 fantasy points in the process to hit value consistently.

GPP Wildcard: San Francisco 49ers $2,100

We're dumpster diving in this one and going incredibly cheap, but opposing defenses have taken advantage of Johnny Manziel, who is averaging 11.5 fantasy points in his last two starts. The Browns offense averaged fewer than 10 points in both those games, as he was unable to keep drives going consistently. The 49ers D/ST has only had three double-digit performances this season but have an opportunity to find their fourth against a Cleveland team that gives up the most fantasy points to opposing D/ST units.
