Malcom Floyd is another sleeper candidate who is finding his way onto this list largely due to attrition. The Chargers have very few healthy, capable receiving options left available at the moment. As such, we saw Philip Rivers pepper Floyd with nine targets last week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Floyd will get to take a crack at a generous Miami Dolphins' secondary that simply chose not to cover Odell Beckham at times in Week 14. Miami has allowed the second most passing plays of 35 or more yards this season, and with Floyd's propensity to run deep routes, the odds are in favor of Rivers taking a shot or two to him in this game.
While Floyd is always a candidate for a dud of a performance, his recent uptick in targets offers a small amount of reassurance to those who choose to roll him out their lineups this week.
