If you were sharp enough to foresee Tim Hightower's nice game coming last week, you likely had a very successful Week 14. With a better matchup against the Detroit Lions this week, we should see him find success once again. While many consider Detroit's run defense to be tough, they've been very up-and-down this season. We watched Todd Gurley shred them apart last week, but prior to that, they hadn't allowed a running back to rush for more than 42 yards over their previous four games.
New Orleans will be at home in this matchup and is favored by three points. With what should be a positive game script, Hightower should flirt with 20 touches in this game -- he garnered 29 in last week's win. Having fully assumed Mark Ingram's role in this offense, including goal line duties, he has a decent chance at another scoring opportunity this week, with the game projected to be relatively high scoring (the over/under is sitting at 51 points).
