The 10 Best NFL Offenses From the 2015 Season
There were a lot of high-powered NFL offenses this year, but which ones were best?

7. Carolina Panthers

Adjusted NEP/P: 0.112 (7th)
Adjusted Passing NEP/P: 0.157 (9th)
Adjusted Rushing NEP/P: 0.060 (5th)

If you told me that the Carolina Panthers would be a top 10 offense in 2015 after losing number one wideout Kelvin Benjamin early in the preseason, I would've called you crazy. Yet, at the end of the year, here we are with the 15-1 Panthers sitting as the seventh best offense in the league.

With Cam Newton operating as a one-man wrecking crew -- he finished the year as the eighth most efficient passer in the league while his 0.35 Rushing NEP per play led all players with at least 100 rush attempts this season -- the Panthers managed to finish as the ninth most efficient passing offense and fifth most efficient rushing offense according to our advanced NEP metrics.

Beyond this, despite a subpar showing by running game and especially tailback Jonathan Stewart -- who owned an average -0.02 Rushing NEP per play on the season -- the Panthers still managed to lead the league in points scored with 500, thanks in large part to Newton who accounted for 45 total touchdowns (35 passing, 10 rushing).
