Richard Rodgers has been an extremely volatile player this season, but he does offer upside. Over his previous six games, he has a seven- and eight-catch outing but only five catches combined in the other four games.
With Davante Adams likely to miss this week's game, Rodgers is a candidate to see a few extra targets thrown his way. The Cardinals have been stingy in terms of allowing touchdowns to opposing tight ends -- they've allowed only six all year -- so his ceiling may not be ideal, but the Cardinals have allowed the sixth most receptions to the tight end position this season, making him a decent pivot off of Greg Olsen, Rob Gronkowski or Travis Kelce if needed.
