The 5 NFL Defenses That Declined Most This Season
Which NFL defenses fell the most in our ranks from 2014 to 2015?

Miami Dolphins

2015 Rank: 31
2014 Rank: 17
Fall: 14 spots

Even after firing defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle in October, the Dolphins' defense still disappointed under interim coordinator Lou Anarumo in 2015, finishing 31st for the year.

Cameron Wake notched seven sacks and four forced fumbles in only seven games before hitting Injured Reserve, and Ndamukong Suh played well but wasn’t a game-changer in his first season in Miami.

Bright spots for the Dolphins included defensive end Olivier Vernon (7.5 sacks) and safety Reshad Jones (5 interceptions), but Brent Grimes was banged up for parts of the season, and Jamar Taylor was a turnstile at cornerback.
