It's a volume-driven game. Running backs need attempts. Wide receivers need targets. Without volume, players just aren't valuable.
While the NFL Draft is supposed to make teams better, it oftentimes can make individual players worse. At least in fantasy football.
And it's because less is more -- fewer players competing for playing time in an offense usually means more volume for the starters. That's great for fake football.
