5 Late-Round NFL Draft Picks to Target in Fantasy Football Rookie Drafts
It's easy to recommend Ezekiel Elliott and Corey Coleman for your rookie drafts, but who are some late-round rookies you should target with the potential to pay off big?

Keith Marshall, RB, Washington Redskins

One player with an immense ceiling worth gambling on is former Georgia Bulldog Keith Marshall, a seventh-rounder. Marshall landed in an ideal situation with a cloudy starter and shallow depth chart that could offer both short- and long-term fantasy value for him in Washington.

Matt Jones averaged a paltry 3.4 yard per carry last season, and after the departure of Alfred Morris, can Washington rely on him to carry their offense? The Redskins finished in the bottom-five in Adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) last year and could use some new blood in the water. Chris Thompson offers a nice change of pace with excellent receiving skills, but if Jones falters or continues at such an inefficient pace, Marshall's incredible blend of size and speed could earn him a shot with the starters.

Breaking PlayerProfiler's Speed Score workout metric, Marshall's combination of size (5'11", 219 pounds) and speed puts him in the highest percentile of draft prospects. Marshall was this year's fastest running back at the Combine with a 4.31-second 40-yard dash time.

Testing off the charts athletically, Marshall was able to overcome his former injuries that led to him continuously fighting uphill for playing time with Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb, and Sony Michel at the helm -- all past or potential first-rounders. Marshall was still able to average 5.5 yards per carry over his career at Georgia as he weaved his way in and out of the lineup fighting injuries and depth.

Entering his rookie season, Marshall is filled with potential after a light workload during his collegiate career and a short climb to the top of the Redskins' running back depth chart.
