Fantasy Football 2016 Rookie Mock Draft: Round 1
The numberFire crew decided to complete a rookie mock draft. Did everything go according to plan?

1.03: Corey Coleman, WR, Cleveland Browns

Drafter Comments

"I love this spot for Corey Coleman. At the very least in 2016, he'll step in and have immediate value based solely on the volume of targets he'll see as the Browns number-one receiver. If the Hue Jackson-Robert Griffin III reclamation project is a success, then Coleman's Year 1 potential climbs even further. Looking ahead, one of the few knocks against Coleman seems to be an issue with drops, but outside of that, he seems to fit the profile of an elite playmaker." -- Blair Ames

Other Comments

"Great value here for Blair, as I think Coleman is closer to being worth the 1.01 than the 1.03." -- Anthony

"Coleman was looking like a top prospect until quarterback Seth Russell went down in October with a neck injury. He still managed to have a pretty stellar 2015 campaign, captivating with four touchdowns in a single game last year for the Bears. Cleveland's front office really helped out RGIII with multiple wideouts in the draft, and Coleman is destined for an immediate impact in Week 1." -- Zach

"If Josh Gordon doesn't return to Cleveland, Coleman is a steal at 1.03. Even if he does, it forces defenses to choose between the two wide receivers. Great pick at this spot." -- Joseph
