Fantasy Football 2016 Rookie Mock Draft: Round 2
The numberFire crew continues their rookie mock draft with Round 2. Who were some of the biggest surprises?

2.05: Kenyan Drake, RB, Miami Dolphins

Drafter Comments

"Over the past three years (2013-2015), running backs have caught 2,605 passes. The three years before that (2010-2012)? Only 2,332. That's an 11.7% increase in running back receptions in today's pass-happy league. Kenyan Drake was a receiving specialist in Alabama and should have no problem climbing this depth chart in Miami. At a minimum, he comes in as a receiving/third-down back seeing routine looks in the passing game that needs help beyond Jay Ajayi." -- Tyler Buecher

Other Comments

"Drake is the classic example of a player I didn't like as a prospect, but everything else about him screams "buy". He was drafted as the third running back off the board by Miami, a team that has seemingly been looking to replace Jay Ajayi all offseason. I think Ajayi is more talented, but ultimately the coaching staff will have final say here." -- Anthony Amico

"Miami spent significant draft capital on Drake in the form of a third-round pick, which is important to remember. I like him as a pass-game wizard, but I don't know if he can ever be more than that. Ryan Tannehill has a lot of mouths to feed, and he needs to improve or some guys are going to starve." -- Austan Kas
