Injuries have slowed Dwayne Allen over the course of his NFL career, as he's missed 21 games over the last three seasons. These injuries have limited his production, and despite running mate Coby Fleener leaving in free agency, Allen's ADP is depressed because of his injury-filled history.
But Allen is a strong two-way tight end who will likely stay on the field in all situations as long as he's healthy, making him a good bet to soak up a good portion of the 161 missing targets from Fleener and wide receiver Andre Johnson a year ago.
Let us not forget that he's a huge red zone threat -- he scored 8 touchdowns two seasons ago -- and 29.7% of quarterback Andrew Luck's career passing touchdowns have been caught by tight ends. Allen is a perfect fit if you're waiting to draft a tight end this year.
