11 Fantasy Football Sleepers to Target This Year
Which late-round targets could end up being huge assets for your fantasy football squads this year?

Mohamed Sanu, WR, Atlanta Falcons

By Kelly McCann

Mohamed Sanu's best statistical season came in 2014, when he made 56 receptions for 790 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was given the opportunity to be A.J. Green's wingman that season, and he’s stepping into a very similar situation with Julio Jones in Atlanta this year.

As the second option in Cincinnati in 2014, Sanu ranked 14th of the 41 receivers who had between 40 to 70 receptions with 68.44 Reception NEP. His 31.52 Target NEP -- points added on all targets -- that season ranked 13th within the same grouping.

Before Roddy White got old and bad, he had 80 catches for 921 yards and 7 touchdowns as Jones’ counterpart in 2014. It’s not unreasonable to expect somewhat similar production from Sanu this season.

The knock on Sanu has been his penchant for dropping the football, but early reports are that his hands look improved in Atlanta.

An added bonus: Sanu had two rushing touchdowns last season, and his 6.08 Rushing NEP was fourth-best among all wide receivers.

He's currently the 52nd receiver being selected in drafts according to FantasyFootballCalculator.com. That’s five spots later than Dorial Green-Beckham, who showed up earlier this offseason weighing 250 pounds and promptly lost his starting job.
