Fantasy Football's Most Overrated Players at Each Position
The Steelers offense should be one of the best in the league this year, but is the team's quarterback being overvalued in fantasy football?

Tight End: Delanie Walker

Last year, only Rob Gronkowski produced more top-12 fantasy performances -- TE1 weeks in 12-team leagues -- than Delanie Walker. And Gronk was the only tight end to score more points than Walker in PPR formats.

So where's the love for the Titans' tight end?

Well, it's being shared among the new weapons they have in Tennessee. The Titans added Tajae Sharpe in the NFL Draft, and they also snagged Rishard Matthews in free agency. This is on top of second-year Dorial Green-Beckham, a once-worthwhile Kendall Wright, an incredibly average Harry Douglas, an aged Andre Johnson, and every fantasy football player's favorite, Justin Hunter.

This isn't to say Walker won't be a top option for the Titans next season, but there are more guys to fight off in the offense than he had last year -- a year where he consumed nearly 25% of the team's targets for a league-high 133 targets at the tight end position.

The Titans also passed the ball far more than they ran it in 2015, ending the year with a 1.63 drop-back-to-run ratio, which was the 11th-highest mark in the league. The team's backfield now has DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry, and the coaches have continuously talked up an "exotic smashmouth" offense, which should lead us to believe that ratio will drop -- at least a bit -- this season.

What's it all mean? Similar to Kelvin Benjamin, there's a good chance that Walker sees a smaller market share all while the team sees fewer passing plays. Walker's potential target totals, then, could drop closer to 100 or 110. If he were to maintain the same fantasy points per target rate as he did last year in PPR leagues, then you're looking at 40 to 50 fewer fantasy points, which is still fine, but not worth his seventh-round price tag. Especially with the high-upside Coby Fleener going just a couple of picks ahead of him.
