Week 5 Trends
Two words: Beast Mode. The Seattle running back, Marshawn Lynch, gets an Indianapolis rush defense that, sure, did well against the Jags last week, but had given up a running back touchdown in the first three weeks prior to that. We expect to see Lynch get into the end zone in Week 5.
The formulas also love Calvin Johnson and Wes Welker, even at their high costs. I mentioned this in the optimized DraftKings lineup article yesterday, but Megatron has killed the Packers over their last three meetings, and Welker should see some soft spots in Dallas' zone defense.
With these costly players comes some cheap guys, too. Even though Alex Smith has a tough matchup, his cost is so little that he allows you to spend elsewhere in your lineup. Jermaine Gresham, a consistent tight end option, is seen throughout our lineups as well given his low price tag.
Remember, if you're entering a daily game on Thursday, you may want to shy away from choosing injury risks (Roddy White). Use our projections to help sort that out, or ask in the questions area of the site. And, as always, check back Sunday for updated rosters.
