Week 6 Trends
Our algorithms are diggin' Cam Newton this week, for good reason - the Viking secondary has been bad this year, giving up at least 292 yards and a touchdown per game. Though he can be costly, Newton should bounce back after a poor Week 5 showing.
You'll see the Johnson boys, Calvin and Andre, throughout a lot of our lineups this week as well. Megatron will see a much improved Cleveland secondary, but of course, he's Megatron - completely matchup proof. The Texans wideout, Andre Johnson, gets St. Louis' defense, a team that ranks 25th against opposing fantasy wide receivers.
Gronk makes his return to daily fantasy, too, entering two of the optimal squads. If he plays, he clearly has a ceiling that's as good as anyone's, but be prepared for disappointment given the amount of time he's missed. He's a big, big boom-or-bust play, but sometimes that's what you need in daily fantasy sports.
Lastly, you should feel fine spending a couple of extra bucks for the Broncos defense this week. They haven't been strong fantasy-wise, but Jacksonville's defensive opponents have posted at least double-digit standard fantasy points in every game so far this year. I'm already picturing a Chad Henne pick-six.
