FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 5
The Packers' backfield injuries should force them to lean on the passing game in Week 5. Who else should you consider rostering?

If you've never played daily fantasy football on FanDuel before, it's time to start. Unlike traditional leagues, you're able to select the players you want on that specific day only, giving you a different squad to root for each and every week.

Here at numberFire we offer great tools for premium members. The analysis below is meant to help you understand why some of these players are top picks in our tools and projections because we don't want you going into the weekend completely blind. We want to help you. Keep in mind, however, that things can change drastically if an injury is announced, so make sure you're double checking the tools and projections as close as possible to kickoff.

Let's break down the main slate on FanDuel for this week.

Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers (FanDuel Price: $9,500) - Rodgers is probably the best way to attack one of the best games on the main slate. The Green Bay Packers have a 25-point implied total at the Dallas Cowboys, who rank 25th against fantasy quarterbacks this year. Green Bay could be with or without Ty Montgomery, Davante Adams, and Jamaal Williams. That'll just put more emphasis on Rodgers to throw against our 16th-ranked pass defense in terms of Adjusted Defensive Passing Russell Wilson ($8,000) - Wilson's Seattle Seahawks have overcome their slow start, and Wilson has averaged more than 30 fantasy points in his past two games. The Los Angeles Rams are just 18th against the pass by our metrics and haven't gotten pressure at a high rate, according to ProFootballFocus. Both teams are top-three in situation neutral pace, per FootballOutsiders. This one has shootout potential.

Dak Prescott ($7,700) - Prescott has 17 or more FanDuel points in all four games this season and more than 22 in his past two games. Green Bay is 21st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play this season, so their top-five ranking in fantasy points per game against quarterbacks is likely inflated. Dak has dominated much tougher matchups this year so far.
