DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! (DUN DUN! DUN DUN!)
In the interest of full disclosure, you won't be hearing that glorious symphony of a song when the Seahawks and Packers kick off the 2014 season tonight. The game's on NBC, not ESPN. But it's still fun to kind of hum it in your head, right?
The Seahawks bring back most of the star personnel who carried them to a Super Bowl victory eight months ago: Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, the 12th Man, the Space Needle, Starbucks, rampant hipsterism, and cod. But the Packers, who are looking to bounce back from a 2013 in which stud quarterback Aaron Rodgers was sidelined for much of the season, are poised to reclaim their position as a perennial contender. It'd be easy to pick a few storylines and run with them...but what do the numbers say?
